Jean Paul Aoun is a trilingual legal strategist with international experience and a robust academic foundation from some of the world’s most prestigious law schools. He holds a Master’s in International Criminal Law and Financial Crimes from Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris 1), a Master’s in Business Law, and an MBA in Management from Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2), as well as a Diploma in International Arbitration from Montpellier University. Jean Paul began his career as expert legal counsel at TotalEnergies, advising on the company’s MENA operations, before joining KPMG Paris, where he worked on complex corporate and commercial legal matters. He has also developed significant expertise in international arbitration, representing clients in high-stakes cross-border disputes. In parallel, he has built a strong reputation in the cultural and creative industries, advising artists, producers, and labels on intellectual property, licensing, and entertainment law. Currently a law lecturer at Université Saint-Joseph (USJ), Jean Paul leads Aoun Partners with a focus on legal precision, strategic advisory, and cross-border excellence.
